Kristen Bell in Complex Magazine

If there is a reason why I still watch Heroes despite its shortcomings this season and its sudden season finale, I got only 2 words for all of you. Kristen Bell. Yes, this hot chick from the hit Detective drama Veronica Mars, to the SciFi Thriller movie The Pulse and now to the comic super hero series Heroes as the electric weilding hottie who is definitely one good reason to stay infront of your tv set.

Now, behold Kristen in her Complex Magazine debut. Look at that body and that face. I'm sure no one can resist her unless she will release those bolts of lightning on you. Well, I think a little electricity will not hurt, hehehe.

Here is a video coverage from ENews.

Katrina Halili and Cristine Reyes 2008 FHM Calendar

So Who Cares If They Are Photoshopped?

I don't care. Well, I don't like Katrina but Cristine is one of my ultimate crushes now. Here are some of the pages of the FHM 2008 Calendar. I think it's already available on your nearest Magazine stand. This is definitely included in my long Christmas Wishlist but I wouldn't mind spending some extra bucks for it.

Joker Photo from Empire Magazine, Take Two

Remember my last post about the Empire Magazine Cover featuring Heath Ledger as Joker. Here is a new version of the photo. Much bigger and with lesser text (the "EMPIRE" Text behind Joker). I know the raw photo is out there somewhere. Keep posted for latest update.

Meet Betty Boop in the Flesh

The moment I saw these photo set, I can't help to be amazed on how Betty Boop is relived by the japanese-german-american actress Devon Aoki. She do really look like Betty Boop. I commend the amazing talent of Ellen von Unwerth for the excellent job.

Joker in Empire Mag Cover

The most anticipated photoshoot of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the movie The Dark Knight. This issue is suppose to be released next year January but no one can stop fanboys from getting a leak of the cover. Hope we can get the raw photo without those texts. For now, enjoy the psychotic atmosphere, hehehHEhEHaAHhAHhehEHaAhhhHA!!!

Into the Gotham City Railway

Just got home from my day job. Its really tiring now and I still have dozens of entertainment scoop piled up and still waiting to be written.

Meanwhile, I still don't have the chance to analyze the five new viral sites of the movie The Dark Knight and yet another website just got online. The site is for Gotham City's Rail Subway that Bruce Wayne's father built during the time he is still alive. The site features a flash based Rail map where the user can zoom in and out. If you will go straight to the Gotham Midtown area where the Wayne Central is located. The subway is marked under construction. This is the same spot where the subway is destroyed when Batman defeated Ra's Al Ghul.

As of now that is the only info I got from the site but I'm very sure that the whole site has more to offer. Maybe an observant eye is the key for the sites hidden messages.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem New Posters

These posters rock!!! The only noticeable thing in the posters is the dates of release. I checked the official website and it is still set to be released this coming Christmas. This posters could be some alternate promotional materials for other regions like here in the Philippines. I'm very sure AVP:R will be postponed to a later date due to the Metro Manila Film Festival.

The Dark Knight Viral Sites Invades Cyberspace

The Dark Knight Marketing department really knows how powerful the internet is. With the launch of the much awaited viral site The Gothem Times last friday, 4 new viral sites are also revealed inside the pages of the newspaper.

The first one is the We are the Answer site. It looks like a crime fighting campaign sponsored by the Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent. The visitors are asked to submit crime incident reports to help GCPD fight the growing crime rate in the city.

The other one is the TheHaHaHaTimes. It is the vandalized version of the Gotham Times. I'm very sure that Joker has another message for us. We will keep you posted if we got some more updates from this.

And lastly two other sites, a memorial to a girl named Gina and the official site of Gotham City Police Department.

Its a parade of sites for The Dark Knight. Visit these sites and you can get interesting stuffs about the movie.

The Gotham Times Website is Up

The much awaited website version of The Gotham Times. Can't tell any info. Need to read first. Go to this link.

The Dark Knight Movie Update : Gotham Times had Arrived

The participants in the latest The Dark Knight promo found in Rory's Death kiss site had already received their prizes. They have received premium early copies of Gotham times (25 copies each participant), a 4 page newspapers that includes articles like Bruce Wayne's partying ways, to Batman saving the day, to Harvey Dent tip lines bringing in corrupt cops.

Now don't feel very jealous over this people because we non-participants can have the chance to read the articles when the new viral site of the movie launches later this day. Go to this link and put it in your bookmarks.

And before I forgot. Try sending a mail in this e-mail ad: HumanResources@WhySoSerious.com. I haven't tried it but I think there is something cool that we might get from it.

A Hero or a Monster : A Heroes Feature

Episode 9 do really reveal more and more about the lives of our weekly favorite characters from the series Heroes. After watching this episode, I can't help to think how the production will turn out since Heroes will end this coming December with two more episodes to release. I believe that this series do still have more to offer. Yes, Heroes have shortcomings this Season but Heroes became very close to fans that they even don't care.

I just read this article by John Campea of the Movie Blog where he discusses his disappointments about the current season. What caught my attention is the item that talks about the Boogie man who suppose to be much worse than Sylar (Season 1 Finale). Earlier this season, Molly reveals that the Boogie man is none other than Matt Parkman's fugitive father Maury Parkman. Maury Parkman like his son Matt possesses the ability of hearing people's thoughts. But unlike his son, Maury is an advance telepath where he develops his ability to alter brainwaves and use them to generate hallucinations and Nightmares that can leave his victim in a coma. Maury also exhibits the skill of controlling anyone just by commanding them by the use of Telepathy.

With the abilities above, I have no doubts that he is indeed dangerous and could be a very scary character in Heroes universe. But the fact that Matt just beat him proves that he is not that really strong. Now on the latest episode, Matt shows some improvements on his abilities and now he can do exactly what his father can do. Matt seems to be enjoying his new found powers especially while using it to people (Molly and Angela Petrelli). This is the point that I came to another theory. Matt is one of the most overrated character in the series. No one is not that really excited about him. What if Matt turns to the other side. It is possible. With a bad childhood background and a failed marriage, not to mention the things he carries, the burden inside his mind. Parkman could end up to be the worse villain in the series.

Carlo J. Caparas' Kamandag Premieres in GMA 7

GMA 7 is proud to present another tv fantasy series adaptation of a Carlo J. Caparas creation, Kamandag. Starring Richard Gutierrez as the title role, Kamandag is a tale of a half-human, half-snake creature who is forced to live in the mortal world because of the conflict he brings in his birthplace. With his snake-like powers, he becomes a sort of hero in his town and the people begin calling him Kamandag.

GMA 7 appointed Mark Reyes (Encantadia, Etheria, Atlantika) and Topel Lee (Quija, Shake Rattle and Roll 8 and 9, La Vendetta) to be the director of the said series. Because of the director's tandem, people are expecting that this series should be good. The production also commisioned the same team who did the production design and CGI designers for Encantadia and Etheria. As you can see the costumes are all well designed especially the Kamandag costume.

Kamandag is set to premiere this Monday, November 19, 2007 in GMA Telebabad after Zaido : Pulis Pangkalawakan.
