As I woke up this noon, a very shocking and indeed very sad story is already spreading to the blogosphere. Our very own Action Superstar, Rudy Fernandez has already reached the end of the line after fighting Cancer for almost months from now.

"Our beloved Rudy Fernandez has gone home to his Maker at 6:15 this morning, June 7, 2008."

This was the text received by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) earlier today from Rudy's camp, and it was later confirmed by StarTalk reporter Gorgy Rula.

Rudy or Daboy, as he was fondly called by his friends and fans, finally succumbed after a hard-fought battle with periampullary cancer that lasted for several months. He was 55.
