This just got in. The result of the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival 2008 awards night held in Sofitel Hotel in Pasay last night December 27, 2008. Viva FIlms' Historical film Baler bagged 10 awards including Best Actress for Anne Curtis and Best Director for Mark Meily, automatically declaring the film as this year's Best Picture. On the other hand, Cutting Edge Productions received 4 awards including Best Original Theme song written by the movie's executive producer Jessie Lasaten and performed by World class performer Lea Salonga.

Wala pa tayong best animated Film nuh? Kung meron malamang nagiisa ang dayo sa category na yun hehehe and they deserved it. Congrats to Dayo sa Mundo ng elementalia not the classic Dayo action flick hehehe
