Despite the simplicity of the first movie, I admit I left the cinemas smiling and contented after watching the first live action movie of Alvin and the Chipmunks last 2007. I enjoy the cuteness and the music. People could be thinking that chipmunks voice is already overrated, then I don't.

Once again the singing trio is back with a vengeance, Alvin (Justin Long), Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Theodore (Jesse McCartney) is back for another adventure now as recording artists. It is also reported that Anna Faris (House Bunny, Scary Movie) and Christina Applegate (Samantha Who, Sweetest Thing) is set to voice the Chipettes.
