Film Gecko just announced that Chase Crawford is already confirmed to play Ren McCormack in the upcoming musical movie adaptation of Kevin Bacon classic Footloose. Despite the public's doubt over Chase, the production is confident that they have chosen the right man for the job.

Another rumor that came out today is having Hayden Panettiere's name attached on the production. For now there is still no confirmation if the Heroes star is indeed joining Footloose but in my opinion, Why not?
