If there is a movie that left me paranoid after watching it, Final Destination Franchise is the one on the top of my list. Notorious for its morbid tales of unfortunate events of determinism, predestination, and precognition, in relation to death.
Now after 3 installments, Final Destination Franchise is back with a 4th film entitled "The Final Destination". Again centers on a character who foresaw what will happen on a racing track. Horrified by his visions, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) warns all of his friends to get out of the racing stadium because of the pileup that will happen. At first, his friends don't believe him but as soon as they left the venue cars starts flying, people screaming and debris rains from the sky. Believing that they cheated death, they don't know that History is starting to repeat itself ... AGAIN.
New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures presents another movie that will keep you paranoid every night because with this film there is no safe place for everyone. First on the franchise to be released in 3D and for what I've heard, they are also planning to make it 4D by adding shaking seats. Wow that is interesting though I don't expect the shaking seats to be available here in the Philippines.
Directed by David R. Ellis with the Screenplay of Eric Bress. Starring Bobby Campo, Shantel VanSanten, Krista Allen, Mykelti Williamson, Haley Webb, Nick Zano, Andrew Fiscella and Richard T. Jones. Set to premiere in US this coming August 28, 2009 and I hope the premonition will also reach the Philippine soil soon.
