Saw the trailer last week but didn't have the time to blog about it because I'm sick. Now, character designs are revealed and the premise is officially released.
The storyline for the series was created by noted comic book scribe Warren Ellis and appears to be heavily influenced from the Grant Morrison New X-Men run as well as Joss Whedon's two year stint on Astonishing X-Men. The series takes place one year after the death of Jean Grey and the dissolution of the team. But when Hisako Ichiki (Armor) goes missing in Japan, Professor Xavier sends out an emergency call to his former X-Men to save her and take on the U-Men, a cult of humans who steal mutant organs to empower themselves.

Iron Man and Wolverine Anime didn't really gave me a lot of reasons to watch them but now that I saw the X-men Anime and the premise is quite interesting, this could be a good reason to check out Iron Man and Wolverine that supposed to be also connected to this show.
Show is set to premiere on G4 on April 1 from Marvel Animations and Madhouse Studios.
