Remember the last time I announced Karylle's involvement on her first international TV series project, well today is your lucky day because you will see the first sneak preview from that upcoming show.  Ladies and gentle men  here is the very first fabulous footage from the TV show, The Kitchen Musical.  Watch the video after the jump.

Set in the musical world of a famous restaurant called Avilon and anchored around the storyline of a rich young girl’s journey of self-discovery when she starts working in the kitchen of the restaurant, straight out of Le Cordon Bleu, Paris.  Will she make it or will she fail?  Follow Maddie (Karylle Tatlonghari) as she struggle to find her place on this competitive world of culinary industry.

Now meet the five lead roles from the show:


Maddie is a rich girl who graduated from a cooking school in Paris and is the sous chef in The Avilon. She believes the restaurant menu is due for a major overhaul but has to contend with the tyrranical head chef and other colleagues in her journey.


Alex Marcus is the Head Chef of The Avilon who is notorious for his ruthless pursuit of perfection. He will not expose and risk his kitchen nor his heart to failure.


Daniel is Maddie’s childhood friend and her shoulder to cry on. But he is a wild card. While he is the unassuming and supportive yet he would have the most to gain if Maddie leaves. After all, he is the other sous chef!


Selena is The Avilon’s sommelier who stops at nothing to get what she wants. A fiercely unapologetic vamp who elicits terror and lust in equal doses among the men of Avilon. A gorgeous temptress with an agenda— to rid of Maddie and win back Alex’s heart.


The General Manager of Avilon, Harry is having a hard time keeping secrets from Maddie and at the same time Harry has to play buffer between her and Alex. But as Christopher Avilon, the unseen manipulator of the story constantly reminds him, a debt is a debt.

The Kitchen Musical is an exciting tale on 13 episodes, told with luscious food and invigorating wines served with all-time popular hits as performed by the amazing cast that comes from different regions of the world. Every episode will surely be a complete delight to all the audience that will satisfy not only our taste buds but also our hunger for musical extravaganza.


Set to premiere this coming October, The Kitchen Musical will be aired in Studio 23 (Manila), nTV7 (Malaysia), Metro TV (Indonesia) and AXN Asia.
