While I was so impressed with Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman, Relativity Media on the other hand is like very close to disappointing and ruining my expectations. They just released their first trailer today and I'm quite not happy. Oh and before I forgot, the movie is now officially titled "Mirror Mirror". Of all titles they choose "Mirror Mirror". Oh well, just hit the jump and watch the trailer.
The newly titled film Mirror Mirror, stars breakout star Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as an exiled princess who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright and Oscar®-winner Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, in a magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.
I didn't see that coming. It is like watching those old fashioned fairy tale parodies. Well I'm expecting something much lighter than Snow White and the Huntsman but I'm not quite expecting something so fatuous bordering on being mediocre and idiotic. They even used a very flat and boring title. But then again, I may be wrong. I really wish I am.
Mirror Mirror is set to premiere on cinemas on March 16, 2012, produced and is distributed by Relativity Media.
