I rarely post TV Spots since most of them are just short versions of the trailer but sometimes TV Spots have exclusive clips that they never include on official trailers.  And this one is just one of them.  Behold the first footage of Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) suiting up for Iron Man 3.

“Marvel's Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

On the said clip it looks like Tony (Downey Jr.) just let Pepper borrow the Mark XLII for protection.  I'm a bit underwhelmed with that idea but with all the fuzz about Pepper having her own armor makes me think that maybe she will be suiting up on a different armor made just for her on a separate scene (possibly in the finale).


Opening in local cinemas on April 24, Iron Man 3 is to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
