20th Century Fox releases the very first teaser for Dawn of the planet of the Apes. It doesn't really give much but it can show you how different is this movie compared to its predecessor.  Watch it after the jump.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth¹s dominant species.

Directed by Matt Reeves, the film stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman and Keri Russell. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will hit theaters on July 2014, to be distributed by 20th Century Fox through Warner bros.
